My stay here was frustrating due to the poor maintenance of the campground. While the pool was nice and the staff were helpful, the overall experience fell short because of faulty utilities and a lack of proper management. I was able to stay here for free with my Thousand Trails membership, but I wouldn't have felt satisfied paying for it given the condition of the sites.

The campground is located in a peaceful area with plenty of shade and nice walking trails. However, it feels somewhat neglected, with many sites overgrown and some amenities unavailable. It's a great spot for those looking to visit nearby historical sites, though you might experience some maintenance issues during your stay.

I had a peaceful experience at this park, enjoying the quiet atmosphere and beautiful nature. The facilities like the pool and walking trails were enjoyable, but some areas, like the campsites and roads, could use better maintenance. Overall, it felt like a hidden gem just down the road, perfect for families or couples looking to escape the hustle and bustle, although some aspects were less than ideal.

I stumbled upon Cherokee Landing while looking for a quiet getaway, and it certainly delivered on peace and tranquility. The campground is nestled in a beautiful grove of trees, making it perfect for birdwatching and relaxing. However, the facilities are a bit outdated, and the access roads could use some improvement. Still, it offers a decent pool and friendly staff that made my stay enjoyable. Just be aware that swimming in the lake isn’t allowed, and the area is quite remote.

While there weren’t any specific room accommodations as it’s a campground, my site was decent for an RV, with power and water working perfectly.

The employees were genuinely helpful, whether I needed assistance with the propane or finding my way around.

The campground is definitely in the middle of nowhere, which is great if you’re looking for solitude but not ideal if you want to explore the area on foot.

I had a decent stay at the park, with a great location that provided peace and quiet. The staff were incredibly helpful, which made a difference. However, there were some issues with the amenities that were advertised but not available, which was a letdown. It's a clean and well-kept park, but I think they really need to invest more to fully meet guests’ expectations.

I didn't stay in actual rooms, as this was more of a camping experience. The campsites were relatively clean, though the overgrowth was a bit off-putting.
